Coach shirt made from charcoal-dyed cotton fabric. Charcoal has long been used as a dye and art material, offering various environmental and health benefits, including antibacterial properties and negative ion effects. It was used in early 1900s baseball uniforms, likely chosen for its insect-repellent properties. For this charcoal-dyed fabric, an analog, nostalgic method was adopted: dyeing after brushing the surface to create a blurred appearance. The design is inspired by the shirts worn by baseball managers and coaches. Functional elements such as ring dot buttons, side seam pockets, and shirring at the cuffs are added, assuming it will be worn as outerwear.
